
Allow for your “human-ness”
The problem with New Year's resolutions is that we tend to expect perfection. The second we slip up or stray from our promise, we beat ourselves up and then we quit.
Slip ups are inevitable. You are human and you will make mistakes. Okay, so you blew it. Forgive yourself and choose to begin again.
Healthy, fit people fall down and have set backs all the time. The difference is that they get back up and you can too.
No one expects you to be perfect. Some days your best will be awesome, some days not.
